An Android app there can predict break distance

In the class \”programming of intelligent vehicles\” the task was to retrieve data via Bluetooth from a vehicle as make value to the user. 

After a brainstorm and some desk research we desided to solve:

“ How to make it more known to people what their braking distance are or by how much it is increased? ”

As a team of five we design, user tested and build an android app able to retrieve breaking data from the car and could after one stop predict an estimated break distance and with more data make an even better prediction. We wished to notify the user if break distance was abnormal, from e.g. worn tires, worn breaks or slippery roads.
